Path of Exile: PS4 version not in December - that's it

  • The release of the PS4 version of the action RPG Path of Exile is shifting. Actually the developers of the studio Grinding Gear Games wanted to provide the Free2Play Game for PS4 users already in the POE Currency middle of December, but they underestimated the necessary time for the certification on the PS4.

Path of Exile has been available to PC gamers since 2013 as a full-fledged game (previously it was in beta for a few years) and owners of an Xbox One are allowed to explore the bleak continent of Wraeclast since 2017. But what about the PS4 community? They have to wait a while now. The scheduled release date in December 2018 Grinding Gear Games can no longer comply - and this is Christmas blame.

Path of Exile will probably be released in February 2019 for the PS4

In an official blog post, lead developer Chris Wilson explains that the team underestimated how long the certification process for the PS4 version would take during the stressful Christmas season. Although they are now hoping that they will be ready in January, at the beginning of February there is a period of time that they rather feel free to publish. The rest of the time, the team wanted to use for optimizations in terms of performance and frame rate before the release.

At the end of the message, Chris Wilson apologizes on behalf of the entire team to all PS4 users who were looking forward to the Betrayal League during the Christmas season. If you want to learn more about POE Items, please continue to keep an eye on MMOAH.
